Job descriptionAssist and work closely with the wholesale / Redistribution team to assess the progress of the department and develop sales strategies, while managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation both pre-sale and post-sale.Prepare and follow up on sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for client(s) and company.Liaise between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client's needs, cost and time restraints.Responsible for maintaining sales records as a basis for reports to the executive management team.Place orders, maintain good professional relationship with customers.Additional job duties / responsibilities as assigned.Must have excellent organizational, administrative, time management and communication skills. Ability to deliver high standards of customer service. Competent in MS Office or equivalent.Working conditions - Works in an office setting / environment sitting for long periods of time, with repetitive computer and telephone use.(PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with 2 years experience in the Food Distribution industry (or) an Associate's degree and 3 years experience in the Food Distribution industry (or) the equivalent combination of education and experience.
