What You Will Experience In This Position :

As an Assembly Operator Lead at nVent Management Company, you will hold a key position in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will :

Operate machinery, hand tools, and pneumatic tools involved in highly repetitive and routine functions such as riveting, drilling, gluing, and assembling.

Apply forklift equipment to pull materials and ensure timely movement within the production area.

Install hardware, perform quality inspection / checks, and package finished goods for shipping, maintaining a flawless standard.

Work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment and participate in teams to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.

Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations, maintaining a neat and orderly work area.

Support the production process by filling in positions on the line as needed to maintain workflow during absences.

Act as a change agent, driving out waste through the deployment of Lean methodology.

Complete and coordinate employee cross-training to achieve efficient team functionality and ensure a world-class production environment.

Recognize and involve employees in problem-solving and decision-making, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative culture.

You Have :

High school diploma or equivalent experience, preferred.

Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred.

Proficiency with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and the Internet.

Forklift experience, preferred.

Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
