Fusion Center Analyst

Overview

The Excalibur Group is currently seeking a Fusion Center Analyst for a local contract in Washington, DC. This position is subject to a background check prior to employment.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Performs information / intelligence analysis, research, review, interpretation, evaluation, and integration of multi-source data and develops intelligence-based products from analytical insights.
• Develops intelligence products, briefings, and reports from analytical insights to support leadership and operational decision-making.
• Disseminates public safety alerts, warnings, and notifications.
• Provides resource coordination in support of daily and emergency operations.
• Monitors, tracks, and assesses potential threats.
• Maintains and utilizes databases, intelligence systems, and reporting tools to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.
• Conducts trend analysis and pattern recognition to identify emerging threats or vulnerabilities.
• Coordinates with federal, state, and local agencies to facilitate the timely exchange of intelligence and operational information.
• Participates in exercises, drills, and emergency response simulations to enhance situational awareness and readiness.
• Provides recommendations to leadership regarding emerging threats, operational impacts, and resource allocation.
• Maintains proficiency with analytical software, geospatial mapping tools, and intelligence systems.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Intelligence Studies, Information Analysis, or a related field; or equivalent experience. If you do not have a Bachelor's degree, the following may be substituted :
