This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect - Media Over IP in United States .

As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a technical leader guiding clients through the design, deployment, and optimization of IP-based media workflows. You will engage directly with customers, translating complex requirements into scalable and efficient solutions while ensuring high-quality delivery. This role combines pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities, including solution design, technical presentations, proof-of-concepts, and integration planning. You will work closely with internal teams to inform product strategy and contribute to innovative IP media solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working remotely, and is passionate about driving technical excellence in broadcast and media networks.

Accountabilities :

  • Serve as the technical lead throughout the full sales lifecycle, from business development to solution delivery.
  • Design and deploy high-level IP-based media solutions, including live production and broadcast workflows.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and provide consultative guidance.
  • Develop detailed solution designs, bills of materials, and technical proposals.
  • Lead and participate in proof-of-concepts, remote or on-site, to validate solutions.
  • Act as a bridge between customer feedback and internal product management for continuous improvement.
  • Document technical requirements, ensuring clear communication with clients, partners, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience designing and deploying live production environments for broadcast media.
  • 3+ years’ experience with SMPTE ST 2110 IP-based media environments.
  • Strong knowledge of video contribution technologies, including compression algorithms such as JPEG2000, JPEG XS, H.264, H.265, and TICO.
  • Deep understanding of IP networking and broadcast technologies.
  • Proven experience in technical solution selling and consultative client engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working remotely and traveling 90–120 days per year as required.
