About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This role involves assisting surgeons in a variety of complex procedures, primarily focused on cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgeries. The candidate must be available to complete a privileging process prior to the start date (approx. 120 days from contract signature).

Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years OR experience preferred; 3 years considered with proper certifications.

Certification required : CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA accepted.

BLS certification required.

Proven experience in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical assistance.

Experience with complex surgical cases such as heart transplants is highly preferred.

Ability to complete a privileging process prior to assignment start (approx. 120 days).

Must be licensed to work in GA and compliant with hospital credentialing requirements.

Ability to manage call responsibilities and float within the hospital.
