Healthcare Setting : Main Tower Emergency Department

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 7, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience

Previous travel nurse experience required

Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Active New York State Registered Nurse License

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Strong clinical skills in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care

Excellent collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills

ER RN Responsibilities

Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients

Serve as primary nurse and / or accountable nurse as assigned

Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease management, and emergency care

Safely administer medications and follow hospital policies

Participate in productivity and effective resource utilization

Comply with nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies

Support Nursing Shared Governance Model and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Engage in professional development and continuing education for healthcare professionals

Integrate nursing research and current clinical evidence into emergency practice

Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and nursing students

Perform duties related to Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned
