About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Healthcare Payer Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of new-payer partnerships, including national and regional health plans, PBMs, and managed care entities. This role involves designing and implementing go-to-market strategies, promoting organizational solutions, and navigating complex sales cycles from initial outreach to contract execution. The VP will also be tasked with identifying new opportunities and partnership prospects within the healthcare payer landscape.
Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of sales or business development experience specifically with healthcare payers, PBMs, or managed care organizations. Extensive payer relationships and health plan expertise are essential, as is a current book of business and industry contacts. The role requires a candidate who is adept at closing contracts, steering sales processes, and has a firm understanding of payer models, value-based care, and regulatory considerations. Experience in selling clinical services, healthcare SaaS platforms, or data-driven health solutions is also necessary. Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and a Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field are required, with a clinical or pharmacy background being a plus. The position demands a high level of travel, up to 50-60%, and a valid driver's license.
