Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide comprehensive psychological services as a School Psychologist for K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year in Vance, AL. This full-time, contract position supports the academic, emotional, and social development of students across the entire K-12 grade range in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to promote optimal outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education services.
Preferred Qualifications :
Valid state certification / licensure as a School Psychologist.Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings.Strong assessment, communication, and consultation skills.Ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain detailed documentation.Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology and special education law.Benefits Include :
