Nurse Practitioner

Sahni Rheumatology & Therapy is a private rheumatology practice located in West Long Branch, NJ. We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic services, including advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound, PRP therapy, electromyography, nerve conduction studies, and an infusion suite. Our practice addresses a wide range of rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions, providing patient-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology will play a critical role in providing advanced nursing care to patients with rheumatic diseases. This includes conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with rheumatic diseases.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide patient education on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with rheumatologists, other healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in rheumatology and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Qualifications :
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rheumatic diseases and treatments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (eClinicalWorks).

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
