About the Assignment

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Glens Falls, New York . This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department providing care to a diverse patient population in a 43-bed unit.

The ideal candidate will bring strong critical care skills, proven experience in trauma and acute medical emergencies, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

Shift : 6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM (12-hour nights)

Hours : 36 hours per week

Weekend & Holiday Requirement : Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Charting System : Epic (experience required)

Patient Ratio : Typically 4 : 1 (may fluctuate with census)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a Level II Emergency Department

Triage, assess, and treat patients presenting with trauma, medical, and psychiatric emergencies

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR

Ensure patient and staff safety through de-escalation and crisis management techniques

Qualifications

License : Active New York State RN license (required)

Experience : Minimum 3 years recent Emergency Room experience

Certifications : BLS (AHA) – required

ACLS – required

PALS – required

TNCC – preferred

De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) – required prior to start

Education : ADN required; BSN preferred

Preferred : Previous travel experience; Epic charting proficiency required
