A company is looking for a Principal Transmission Planning Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate to create analysis tools and models for renewable energy and transmission projects

Perform power flow, production cost, and economic analyses

Conduct studies to ensure compliance with NERC Reliability Standards and identify system improvements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

7+ years of experience in power systems and transmission planning

Experience with power flow and production-cost software

Programming skills in Python

Master's degree in Engineering is preferred
