Qualifications :
Education : AAS / BS in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)Licensure :Current New York State RN licenseBCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse certificationsExperience :Minimum of one year nursing experience in an Ambulatory / Medical Surgery / ER setting preferred.Minimum of two years of nursing experienceDemonstrated experience with telephone triage and diagnosis procedures.Technical Skills :Demonstrated knowledge of medications.Must be proficient in using computer applications and the internet.Must be able to multitask successfully.Soft Skills :Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesAbility to make critical decisions and prioritize effectivelyEmpathetic and professional telephone communicationKey Responsibilities :
Provide and coordinate patient care in an ambulatory settingConduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop care plansEvaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care as neededPerform telephone triage and provide patient educationMaintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocolsHow
