• Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation / Management of Dysrhythmias required
• Patient Diagnoses : Ischemic strokes (post-thrombectomy, post-tPA), neuromuscular disorders, seizure disorders, CNS infections, hemorrhagic strokes, subdural / epidural hematomas, ICP monitoring (EVDs / bolts), neurotrauma (GSW,MVC, spinal cord injuries) - Special Procedures / Unit Details : Vasoactive medications, Central line / Arterial line management, ICP monitoring CRRT , hypothermia / hyperthermia management, Spinal precautions - Special Equipment : EVD, bolt - Will complete 10 hours of stroke education total (NIHSS can satisfy 3 hours of the 10 hours of stroke education if taken in the year, New provider or renewal ACLS provides points if taken in the year) - will complete during orientation Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Short Term Acute Care Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable) : Magnet & Teaching Hospital / Level I Trauma Center Total Staffed Beds : 1,266 Scrub Color : Navy Blue Charting : EPIC Parking Cost : Monthly parking passes available.
