Operating Room RN Job Details

Location : Dakota Dunes, SD 57049 (South Dakota nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Surgical Hospital – Urology Operating Room

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 17 / 2026)

Shift : 8 Hour Days (schedule may vary)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Float Requirement : As needed within clinical skillset

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,330 - $2,500 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – South Dakota or compact state

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Strong perioperative nursing and clinical support skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients in the Urology OR

Prepare the operating room and surgical equipment for procedures

Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operations

Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes

Float to other clinical units as required based on skillset

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
