Job description

Health Unit Coordinator (Solid Organ Abdominal Transplant)

Under the direction of the manager or designee supports the functions of the unit / area by performing receptionist and clerical duties.

Responsibilities include :

  • Maintaining the medical record in good form.
  • Communicating effectively using established systems / protocols.
  • Communicating effectively with ancillary departments.
  • Maintaining unit supplies / forms appropriately.
  • Assuming responsibility for professional development of self and contributing to the professional development of others.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Education : High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Experience : No experience required.
  • Licensure : None
  • Physical Demands :

    Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending / stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift / push / pull.

    Position Compensation Range : $15.00 - $21.16 Hourly
