A company is looking for a Senior or Principal Transmission Planning Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team in conducting complex power system studies and ensure compliance with quality standards
Engage with clients to provide solutions for enhancing the reliability and economics of transmission systems
Perform technical studies and modeling, including load flow and contingency studies, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 6+ years of experience in Transmission planning
Proficiency in software such as GE PSLF, TARA, Gridview, PowerWorld, PSSE, and PSCAD
Experience with ISO transmission systems and generator interconnection processes
EIT certification with the ability to obtain PE through examination
Demonstrated leadership experience and strong client relationship skills within the Transmission Planning industry
