Rush-Henrietta is pleased to announce the expansion of School Counseling support at its primary schools, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, with each school
being assigned one school counselor. We are seeking exceptional candidates of diverse backgrounds and experiences who want to join our outstanding mental wellness
team in these full-time, tenure-track positions.
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of early-childhood development - both academic and social-emotional - and the implementation of interventions that are
matched to each child's needs. The successful candidates will be skilled at making strong connections with students, utilizing culturally responsive practices, and will
demonstrate an ability to coordinate school and community resources for students and families to support student well-being. The counselors also will lead implementation
of the district's K-12 counseling program in their schools, with emphasis on the development of social-emotional learning competencies.
SALARY :
Competitive, based on experience and graduate study, per the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
QUALIFICATIONS :
New York State Certification as a School Counselor is required.
