Position : RN – Ortho Surgery (Night Shift)

Specialty : Orthopedic Surgery RN

Shift : Nights | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Start : ASAP

Rate : $90 / hr

Work Type : Full-time

Temp-to-Perm : Available

Patient Population : Ortho patients including joint replacements, fractures, shoulders, and podiatry cases

Experience : 1+ year in ortho or similar nursing specialty preferred

Certifications : BLS, RN license in state of employment or compact

Requirements & Duties :

1 : 5 nurse / patient ratio

Rotates float to Med / Surg Tele if not needed in ortho

Weekend and every-other-week on-call required

Administers medications / treatments, monitors for effectiveness and side effects

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care

Provides patient / family education

Documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care

Practices independently in a complex ortho surgical environment
