Responsibilities Work in an Emergency Room setting in a Level 1 Trauma Center Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Every other weekend work required (two weekends per month) Mandatory floating to any Cook facility within a 50-mile radius, including units outside primary specialty No block scheduling or special scheduling requests allowed Uses Cerner EMR system; experience with Cerner preferred Must comply with strict documentation and compliance deadlines, including lab work within 72 hours of acceptance Navy blue scrubs required; not provided by facility Parking available at the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center with shuttle service Must adhere to RTO policy : maximum 5 days off per contract, no more than 2 consecutive days, no time off on weekends, holidays, or immediately before or after holidays Team-based support is in place when floating outside of primary competency Proof of all required vaccinations must be provided one week prior to start date Requirements Active IL RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent acute care emergency department experience Current certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must provide proof of COVID vaccine (booster not required) Must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered as a local candidate Pending licenses not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626013.
