Work Experience :

Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor / preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services to adult and / or pediatric patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects and / or diseases.

Education :

Associate’s degree or higher

Certifications :

One of the below certifications is required :

ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).

ARDMS -Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography.

ARRT – Radiography.

CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS).

CCI - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).

CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

CCI - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).

BLS.
