About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Medicaid Regional President for Louisiana to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the strategic direction, oversight, and administration of the Medicaid program in the state. This executive role involves leading the local Medicaid executive team, managing relationships with the Louisiana Department of Health, and representing the company in public and stakeholder engagements. The VP will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, P&L oversight, and compliance with all relevant laws and programmatic requirements. Applicants must have a strong background in executive-level healthcare management, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 6-10 years' experience in healthcare or government leadership and operations. A Master's degree and experience in Medicaid MCO plan leadership are preferred. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in strategic and thought leadership, budgeting, and financial management within a health plan. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Louisiana market and be committed to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of the community.
