Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Registered Nurse

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 8 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,720 - $1,840

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Mississippi or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Fetal Monitoring certification

Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility (travel nurse requirement)

All certifications must be submitted with your application

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Monitor fetal and maternal health using advanced fetal monitoring equipment

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform neonatal resuscitation as necessary

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
