Position Description

DEFINITION :

To teach courses in Veterinary Assistant to inmates at the correctional institution. To develop and update curriculum and prepare educational material for courses, provide classroom instruction to students through lecture, demonstration, and laboratory exercises, handouts, responding to questions and testing. Courses to be delivered via on ground.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED :

• Receives direct supervision and / or technical direction from the Director of Special Programs
• May occasionally receive general supervision from full-time instructional staff
• Receives facility rules / procedures and process direction from prison staff
• Exercises no supervision
