The Hotel Front Desk Agent is responsible for accommodating guests of the Warehouse Hotel in a welcoming manner while upholding a professional demeanor at all times.
SCHEDULE : This position requires open availability including days / evenings / weekends / holidays.

Essential Job Functions
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guestsIssue room keysTransmit and receive telephone messagesAnswer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, recreational facilities in complex and around the complex, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directionsKeep records of room availability and guest accountsCompute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guestsMake and confirm reservationsPost charges (such as room, food, telephone) to ledgerMake restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations, as well as arrange for toursDeposit guests’ valuables into hotel safe or safe deposit boxSell a variety of seasonal ticketsAssist in delivery of luggage, fruit baskets, flowers, etc. to Guest RoomsMaintain inventory and upkeep of brochures for Lobby brochure rackUse switchboard to connect interoffice and house callsAnswer, screen, and route outside callsSupply information to callers and record messagesPerform clerical duties such as typing, group arrival preparations, proofreading, and mailing brochures and information to guestsReport tasks to maintenance, housekeeping, common area, and management using multiple communication processesRecord and set up all wake-up callsRecord lost and found items into Visual One and coordinate with housekeeping the mailing of all articles to GuestsAll other duties assignedRequirements :
18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalentDependable transportation to and from workLanguage skills : Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communicationAbility to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessaryAvailability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays as neededAuthorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications
