A growing food manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production operations, ensure equipment reliability, and help improve process efficiencies. This hands-on role supports maintenance leadership, works closely with operators, and plays a key part in keeping production safe, efficient, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Safely start up and shut down equipment according to company standards and regulatory guidelines.
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and maintain detailed records.
Support maintenance leadership in improving equipment efficiency, product quality, and waste reduction.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues; replace defective components as needed.
Assist with equipment installations and recommend proper spare parts inventory levels.
Calibrate testing instruments and repair equipment per manufacturer specifications.
Train machine operators on proper use, safety, and basic troubleshooting.
Partner with operations and plant management to help maintain efficiencies and optimal yields.
Desired Skills
Solid electrical knowledge (24V–480V AC, single & 3-phase, DC systems, motor controls, schematics, circuits).
Understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and support root-cause repair.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years of industrial machine operation or maintenance experience.
Experience in food processing or manufacturing preferred.
Mechanically inclined; must be comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
Ability to work 1st shift (5 : 00 AM–1 : 40 PM).
Bilingual skills and industrial maintenance training are a plus.
