FSB&W is seeking accounting professionals to join our fast-growing team. We are a challenging and rewarding professional environment, where you will have opportunity for advancement and your talent will be respected and developed.
FSB&W allows you to be involved in every aspect of client engagements – from workpapers through financials to preparing the tax return. We have a diverse client base, keeping you challenged with assignments that vary by industry sector and service area. You’ll interact regularly with clients, managers and partners, gaining knowledge, responsibility and growing professionally at a fast rate.
At FSB&W, we are primarily cloud based, with a hybrid-work environment. We offer 2-3 days on site in our Vernon Hills, Illinois office and 2-3 days remote, affording you the opportunity to work from home or office as needed. Our fun, flexible and innovative culture will allow you to learn and grow with opportunities to work with partners and our professional team. This is a unique opportunity to work from either location with flexibility in scheduling and seasonality in public accounting.

- Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, workpaper and financial statement preparation as well as client communication
- Conduct accounting compilations and reviews
- Preparation of individual, fiduciary, business tax returns
- Prepare sales and payroll taxes
- Conduct bookkeeping and related functions
- Provide outstanding client service and communication
- Maintain active communications within the firm to manage expectations, safeguard client satisfaction and ensure deadlines are met
Successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting
- CPA strongly preferred, or pursuing
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in public accounting preferred
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Software (Desktop and Online)
- Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
- Proficient in CCH software a plus
