Job Title : Junior Team Lead - Shipping and Receiving

Classification : Hourly

Reports To : Materials Manager

Department : Shipping

Summary of Position

The Junior Team Lead - shipping and receiving is responsible for safe and efficient receiving,

handling, storage of all products within the warehouse and to coach and manage a small group

of employees.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Knowledge and practice of all applicable safety rules and procedures including but not limited to : Safe lifting practices, Safe product storage methods and Safe operation of forklift and electric tugger.
• Ability to coach and manage small groups of employees
• Ability to operate forklift and tugger safely and efficiently. Must pass certification for forklift and tugger operation. Willing to train the right person.
• Ability to store all finished goods safely and efficiently from Visalia manufacturing lines.
• Knowledge of all stock locations / products and area designations.
• Knowledge of correct labeling requirements.
• Ability to identify and differentiate various inventoried products and characteristics.
• Ability to read and understand all applicable forms and paperwork involved in Warehousing Department, including but not limited to Material Transfer forms and Production Worksheets.
• Take initiative to maintain good 5S housekeeping and a clean and orderly work environment.
• Take initiative to make constructive suggestions involving safety and productivity improvements.
• Ability to load trucks safely and efficiently.
• Support, demonstrate and promote Pregis' core values : integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation.
• Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and

regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
