Construction Superintendent Opportunity

The Opportunity : We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to lead and manage large-scale construction projects. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to completion, developing project strategies, plans, and budgets, and assembling qualified project teams. The role also involves scheduling, coordinating, and supervising craft employee activities, which may include supervising various trade groups (electricians, boilermakers, and carpenters) in different construction disciplines such as civil, structural, electrical. Walbridge is looking for Superintendents that know how to and love to build!

Location : You can be located anywhere in the US, if you are highly willing to travel to our client projects on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities :

• Project Planning and Strategy : Plan and supervise construction activities, including determining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules. Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Team Leadership : Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors. Resolve construction problems and maintain communication with unions.
• Resource Management : Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective measures. Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedules.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
• Performance Monitoring : Track project progress through metrics and reporting, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or challenges.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations.
• Innovation and Improvement : Continuously seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies.
