Job Title : RN - Emergency Room (ER)\n\nLocation : Warwick, RI, 02886\n\nEmployment Type : Contractor / Onsite\n\nDepartment : Emergency Department\n\nContract Duration : 90 Days (Approx. 13 Weeks)\n\nSchedule : Monday - Friday, 07 : 00 PM to 07 : 30 AM (3x12 Hour Shifts)\n\nHours per Week : 36\n\nPosition Summary\n\nThe RN Emergency Room provides professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, managing acute and critical patient situations, and collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

• Implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.\n
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and response to care interventions.\n
• Serve as a primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.\n
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly.\n
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.\n
• Respond effectively to emergency situations using advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking.\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.\n
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting.\n
• Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).\n
• Licensure : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island (or compact state eligibility).\n

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required\n
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required\n
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Preferred\n
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Preferred\n\nSkills & Competencies\n
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills.\n
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.\n
• Proficiency in triage and emergency interventions.\n
• Knowledge of current ER best practices, procedures, and equipment.\n\nCompensation\n
• Pay Rate : $72.07 per hour (Contract, Pay-as-you-go)\n\nWork Environment\n
