The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers / visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist performs basic administrative / clerical / operational / customer support / computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments. As the Receptionist, you are the first impression of the center. You will welcome patients and coordinate front-desk activities. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality.

Job Functions

• Answer phone calls utilizing a multi-line telephone system.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all requests by taking appropriate action, such as scheduling appointments, taking messages, transferring calls to appropriate staff.
• Ensure thorough records are maintained by documenting discussion, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries.
• Resolve patient issues through independent problem solving and with a goal of first call.

Work Hours : Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
