Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Emergency & Urgent Care opening in MTLocated in GlendiveFull Time PositionA Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) is sought to provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department (ED) and / or Urgent Care (UC) setting. Working under the supervision and guidance of the on-duty physician, the PA / NP will assess, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan, while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making and adhering to established protocols.Key Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, x-rays, and EKGsDiagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plansPerform procedures as approved by credentialing and licensurePrescribe medications in accordance with state and organizational guidelinesCollaborate with supervising physician as needed for complex cases or consultationsDocument all patient encounters accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain required certifications for emergency and urgent care settingsQualifications : Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programCurrent state licensure and certificationDemonstrated ability to manage patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatricsMeets all continuing education and credentialing requirementsSkills & Abilities : Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and patient education skillsAbility to work independently and within a team in high-pressure environmentsPhysical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and move for prolonged periodsCapable of lifting up to 50 poundsExposure to chemicals, body fluids, and bloodborne pathogens
