What you can expect at your practice :

• Exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with our Trauma Surgery team at York Hospital
• Full-time position; Days - no nights / no call; with rotating weekend schedule
• Non-Surgical; Experience in trauma / critical care or wound care preferred
• Conduct thorough patient assessments during rounding to evaluate patient status and progress
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans based on patient assessments and team input
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment plans
