Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center (SCHHC) is a Critical Access Hospital in Bandon, Oregon. Our mission is "Quality healthcare with a personal touch". SCHHC has full-time openings in our Medical Imaging Department for a CT / X-Ray Technologist.

The CT / X-Ray Technologist operates within the day-to-day operations of the Medical Imaging Department in alignment with the mission, values, and goals of the organization. This position performs the duties of a Radiologic Technologist. The Radiology Technologist II performs imaging procedures according to the physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment. This position is responsible for performing CT and X-ray exams. Experience with GE equipment is a plus.

  • SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OPPORTUNITY, UP TO $10,000, IS AVAILABLE

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements :

  • Graduate of a certified Radiologic Technology School or program.
  • Current applicable state licensure (OBMI) in Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic and national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) is required as well as a Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS)
  • Minimum two years of previous experience in the appropriate field of Imaging is preferred.
  • EPIC experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.
  • This is a Full-Time onsite position that is eligible for benefits.
