Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom integrations and ETL processes between K-12 data and internal / external systems

Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines while collaborating with stakeholders to meet data needs

Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency through quality assurance practices

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or SIS specialist roles

Hands-on experience with Student Information Systems or K-12 platforms, including APIs and data exports / imports

Strong skills in SQL, Python, and ETL / ELT tools

Experience with RESTful APIs, SFTP, and data quality assurance practices

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ability to work independently in a remote position
