Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

The Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer is responsible for managing client projects and for assuring high quality and timely completion of engineering designs and reports. The Senior I&C Engineer should be comfortable interfacing with the clients, visiting clients facilities and performing physical work such as walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing stairs / ladders. Key responsibilities include technical calculations and preparation of I&C deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Collection and presentation of key data / information
• Instrument technical specifications and ISA data sheets
• Instrument installation details
• Instrument location plans
• Control wiring and loop diagrams
• P&IDs in regard to instrument and control philosophy
• I / O requirements for DCS and PLC systems
• Review of vendor drawing submittals
• Technical calculations (e.g. control valve sizing)
• Technical evaluation of bids
• Assistance in field work
• Support of construction and startup / commissioning activities
