Top 3 Required Skills :

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment installation, startup, and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of process variables and mechanical systems (drive trains, actuators, piping)
  • Ability to lead and supervise internal and external technical teams

Must-Have Skills :

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing experience with production equipment
  • Hands-on ability with tools, instruments, and alignment devices
  • Knowledge of process piping system design and P&IDs
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and leading technical personnel
  • Understanding of process variables : flow, temperature, pressure, rate, and level
  • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with machine builders and system integrators
  • Familiarity with equipment documentation (drawings, specs, checklists)
  • Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic actuator systems
  • Experience in both domestic and international manufacturing environments
  • Key Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Provide mechanical engineering support for installation, debug, and startup of equipment and automation systems
  • Supervise and direct internal techs, maintenance staff, and contract trades during equipment installation and conversion
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to safety, quality, and corporate standards
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues; perform hands-on repairs and adjustments
  • Interface with system integrators and machine builders to deliver fully integrated equipment systems
  • Modify and redline drawings, specs, and documentation for equipment installations
  • Procure and manage materials and components for installation and modification projects
  • Train technical staff and ensure compliance with installation procedures
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or mechanical systems experience
  • Ability to work hands-on in equipment installation and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide technical teams
  • Flexibility to manage changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects
  • Familiarity with process piping, mechanical drives, and actuators
