NCS is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth for our Security Division in Houston. This role focuses on selling and implementing integrated security solutions including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems across markets such as commercial, education, government, healthcare, industrial, and transportation. The position is designed to support NCSs already established AV and Structured Cabling business by expanding our security offerings to new and existing clients. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment to contract negotiation and project delivery, working closely with our engineering and project management teams.

As an Account Executive at NCS, your day begins with a balance of nurturing relationships and seeking new opportunities. You start by checking in with your existing customers, addressing their needs, and identifying ways to grow their business with NCSs solutions. These relationships are built on trust and consistent service, ensuring that your customers see you as their go-to partner, making competitors an afterthought.
From there, you step into the field, where youll spend 60-75% of your time. Whether its meeting face-to-face with general contractors, consultants, or IT management at individual customer organizations, youre constantly building connections and uncovering opportunities for growth. Some days involve cold calling to introduce NCS to new prospects or setting up appointments to share how our solutions can transform their projects. Other days, youre partnering with channel vendors or presenting the NCS story alongside vendors to key stakeholdersnot through a slide deck but through meaningful conversations that resonate.
Each project you secure is a team effort. Youll work closely with the estimating group to lay out the competition, strategize with operations on timelines, and package a winning proposal. Your collaboration doesnt just win deals it ensures every project is delivered with excellence.
Our sales cycle typically spans 3-6 months and deals range from $25,000 to $250,000, with the occasional high-impact deal reaching into the millions. This variety ensures that no two dealsor daysare the same.
