Radiology Technologist Job Details

End Date : February 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1900 - $1950 per week

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

Active ARRT (R) certification required

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

At least 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Proficiency in diagnostic imaging procedures : X-ray, CT, MRI, and vascular studies

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, and vascular studies for patients of all ages

Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently in a clinical setting

Prepare and administer contrast media as needed

Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection prevention protocols

Accurately document procedures and patient information in EPIC EMR

Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response services

Float to other qualified units within the hospital as needed

Participate in weekend coverage every other weekend
