Occupational Therapist – Travel Position

Location : Rhinelander, WI

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5x8s Days

Pay : $2,355 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a facility in Rhinelander, WI, on a travel contract. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, focusing on enhancing independence in daily living activities, mobility, and overall functional abilities. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, and skilled in delivering individualized therapy care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, strengthening, coordination, and mobility support.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and use of assistive equipment.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with physical therapy, speech therapy, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Support independence, recovery, and improved quality of life through evidence-based occupational therapy practices.
