Chemours is seeking a Chemistry Co-op to join our New Johnsonville team! This position will report directly to the Co-Op Manager .

As a Chemi stry Co-op, you will work closely with the New Johnsonville team gaining valuable experience through hands-on projects supporting a chemical plant . You will have exposure to real-time chemistry work alongside other chemists and engineers to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom.

Effective chemistry co-ops will have the ability to communicate with impact , have strong self-awareness, and will be naturally inquisitive.

Location : New Johnsonville, TN

Hours : Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

Preferred First Term : January- May 2026

Minimum of 2 terms required, Flexible to candidate schedule

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Work ing with experienced chemistry and engineering professionals on improvement and support projects
• Assisting operations with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving chemistry issues
• Participating in process safety management activities and reviews
• Contributing to team meetings and conference calls
