We are currently hiring an Applications Support Analyst I in Rockford! You will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for software applications used by our client.
What is the location, shift, and pay of the Applications Support Analyst I?
Location : Onsite in Rockford, IL 61109Pay : up to $60K annuallyShift : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm CST, Monday - FridayEssential Functions and Responsibilities :
Provide technical support for software applications used by the organization's employeesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications, including user errors and system bugsInvestigate and resolve data discrepancies and other data-related issuesProvide root cause analysis for software issues and work with development teams to identify and resolve software bugsDevelop and maintain technical documentation related to software applications and support processesParticipate in software testing and quality assurance activities as neededIdentify and suggest process improvements to enhance software support and increase end-user satisfactionMaintain up-to-date knowledge of new software applications and industry trendsProvide training and support to end-users as neededWhat skills and certifications will you be bringing to the position?
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldITIL Foundations a plus1-2 years experience supporting Financial / HR / Payroll products.Assist in setting permissions
Have a basic understanding of requirements needed for local, state, and federal requirements to help with audits1-2 years experience supporting Document Management productsAssist in document retention and the complexities of the length of time to retain, legal holds, and government requirements
Strong Documentation Skills for keeping documentation current with the changesStrong Organizational SkillsAbility to keep up with and adapt to all system upgrades
Be prepared to do a major upgrade every 12 – 18 months nowStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issuesStrong Communication Skills, ability to communicate well to set expectations with vendors and customersFamiliarity with SQL and basic database conceptsAbility to adapt to technology changes and enhancements.Ability to effectively work with Vendors, Developers, Testers, Customers and be able to work with all levels of the organizationKnowledge of software testing and quality assurance principlesAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environmentAt DYOPATH, we offer top-notch benefits that helped us earn our "Great Place to Work" certificate!
