We’re seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives across multiple branches, driving compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Position Overview
The Regional Landscape Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety programs and training to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. This role will provide direct support to branch operations, ensuring that our teams work safely, efficiently, and responsibly at all times.
This position requires frequent travel between branches and job sites within the assigned region
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all regional safety initiatives across assigned branches.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and accident investigations.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing field training.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
- Partner with Branch Managers and Operations Leaders to identify and mitigate job hazards.
- Track and analyze safety metrics; report findings and trends to leadership.
- Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, communication, and recognition.
- Oversee incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Support safety-related documentation and recordkeeping for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Serve as the point of contact for safety issues, emergencies, and client safety concerns.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in safety management within landscaping, construction, or a related field.Safety certification OSHA 10 required.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel regularly.Safety certifications such as OSHA 30 , First Aid / CPR , or CSHO preferred.CPR Instructor Certification preferredExcellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence across all levels of the organization.Proven ability to train and engage field employees in safe work practices.Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred.Why Join Russell Landscape
