The Associate Chief Medical Executive will play a pivotal role in supervising, managing performance, and training Clinical Directors in their assigned market. This leader will be accountable for achieving center performance objectives, driving growth, and fostering a positive culture. The position also includes a commitment to direct patient care as a Primary Care Physician (PCP) and other clinical responsibilities, with time allocated based on various market factors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee clinical outcomes and manage Medical Directors across multiple centers in the assigned market.
- Ensure efficient clinical operations and meet or exceed market earnings goals.
- Mentor and develop Medical Directors to achieve outstanding clinical results.
- Facilitate talent development for PCPs, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Directors, including coaching and performance management.
- Promote a strong physician culture aligned with our core values and service standards.
- Assist in training new practitioners in the designated centers.
- Participate in recruiting and interviewing candidates for various clinical roles.
- Build solid relationships with payers, specialists, and the community to enhance our outreach.
- Monitor and nurture a positive market culture, addressing workplace concerns proactively.
- Review and approve center-level referrals and provide backup for market referrals.
Additional Responsibilities May Include :
Support performance improvement initiatives in conjunction with the Regional President.Lead monthly scorecard reviews and quarterly clinical metric analyses.Deliver training and support to other entities within the organization as needed.Develop strong relationships with providers and stakeholders within the market.Utilize knowledge of local market dynamics to drive clinical initiatives.Ensure delivery of outstanding clinical service and outcomes to a patient panel as a PCP (20% time).Required Qualifications :
MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.Preferred experience as a Medical Director or in a similar role working with Medicare or Medicaid populations.Board eligibility is required; Board Certification is preferred.Current active license to practice medicine in your state.High-performing physician with demonstrated clinical leadership accomplishments.Proven experience with population risk management or chronic disease care management.Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement initiatives.Compensation :
Salary range is $231,876 - $331,251
