DUTIES
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor surgical procedures.Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring.Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications.Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three [2] years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.Knowledge of medical coding and billing.Skilled in patient care techniques, including taking vital signs and assisting with examinations.Knowledgeable in medication administration procedures and basic life support techniques.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.REQUIREMENTS
Valid certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient service.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.BENEFITS
