Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include :

The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.

As a Site Services intern you may perform the following duties :

Provide administrative support of operations and maintenance activities.

Support closure and documentation of reliability projects.

Assist with field validation of procedures and written instructions.

Assist in implementation of Con-Ops improvement plan.

Assist in material condition walkdowns

Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel verbally and in writing.

May assist with operating light duty government vehicles on / off site for assigned duties.

Perform administrative duties to include, Database Administration, Filing and miscellaneous office work, support with hands on inventory / tagging of tools and equipment in the field.

Required Qualifications

Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.

Must have completed freshman year of college.

Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
