A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Specialist - Endo / Pulmonary.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain authorizations for surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, medications, and other services
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and update patient insurance information as necessary
Communicate with patients, physicians, and office staff to resolve authorization issues
Required Qualifications
High School Graduate / GED required
Vocational / Technical School / Diploma Program preferred
2-4 years of related experience preferred
Experience with standard office equipment and technology in a Windows environment required
Knowledge of insurance carrier guidelines and clinical policies preferred
