Responsibilities Position in a hospital setting on the General Ultrasound unit Day shift schedule : Monday through Thursday, 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM (4x10 hour shifts) Pediatric ultrasound experience is required Floating may be required within department assignments and to a sister campus Potential for variable on-call requirements, including nights and weekends Expected to work every other weekend Scrub color is ceil blue Locals are accepted at the same rate Must be able to float within the department and to the sister campus as needed Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment and holiday time off requests are limited No blocked scheduling is permitted Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for a full year to return as a traveler If previously unable to return, a successful assignment at another facility is required before rebooking Modules and orientation are non-billable and completed during orientation Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed, with no time off during the first week of the assignment Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent ultrasound technologist experience Strong pediatric experience is required GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration (License required if applicable) First-time travelers are not accepted Two supervisory references from managers or above are highly preferred Ability to submit required documents and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621732.
