About the role :
The FO Production Accountant will be responsible for supporting the production team in tracking project costs, invoices, and payments. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can self-manage priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Costs Tracking : Receive invoices from ongoing projects; file in the provided system; input invoices into the costs tracker for each project; work with production to project cash flow; provide weekly reporting on projected costs trends for each project.
- Vendor Financial Onboarding : Process vendor onboarding requests for Fever Originals projects; ensure necessary information is received in a timely and complete manner; review vendor invoices for correct formatting and information.
- Invoice Tracking & Payment : Enter correct information into the Finance system for invoices; track vendor invoices and liaise with Global Finance to ensure timely payment; escalate missing or mis-paid invoices; assist production in expediting key invoices as needed.
- Budget and Financial Administration Process : Identify areas for improvement in cost tracking processes; suggest templates or software solutions; collaborate with Global Finance to improve financial processes and rollout new systems with Production teams.
- Team Collaboration and Support : Collaborate with FO teams to translate vision into execution; provide administrative support to the Senior Producer and other team members; attend project finance meetings and distribute action items.
- Quality Control and Compliance : Ensure invoices are accurate and complete; troubleshoot missing, late, or incorrect invoices.
Qualifications
Experience in entertainment, ideally live event production accountingStrong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and requestsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse teamsProficiency with Google Workspace; project management software experience is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with a solutions mindset; eager to improve workflowsReporting Structure
The FO Production Accountant (Permanents & VR) will report directly to the Assistant Director of Production.
