Instructional Designer

MUST HAVE : Must have worked with any ROAD Transit customer.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design and Develop Instructional Content : Create engaging and effective learning materials, including presentations, handouts, CBT modules, and job aids, using established templates and design standards.
• Apply Instructional Design Principles : Develop content that aligns with adult learning theory and instructional best practices, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and learner engagement.
• Engage in Proactive Stakeholder Communication : Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with strategic training goals and operational needs.
• Manage Project Timelines and Milestones : Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress against key milestones, and address risks or delays to ensure timely delivery of training products.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) : Work closely with SMEs to gather technical content, clarify complex information, and translate it into learner-friendly formats that meet training objectives.
• Review and Quality Assurance : Lead content reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with learning goals, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
• Contribute to Evaluation Efforts : Collect and organize learner feedback and assessment data to support the evaluation of training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
