PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking multiple 2nd Shift Production Techs, for a well-established wood processing facility in Redmond, OR. This position offers a steady M-F schedule, with the possibility of overtime. Operating hours are 12pm - 9pm, pay starts $20 / hr depending on experience.

Job Duties :

• Equipment Operation : Operate and continuously monitor the Premier Tech EM600R baler and industrial equipment for efficient swing shift production.
• Mechanical Maintenance : Perform critical mechanical fixes (e.g., general repairs, replacing components) as the primary function to minimize downtime.
• Preventative Inspection : Proactively inspect and monitor machinery components (bearings, rollers, pneumatics) to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Quality Assurance : Conduct periodic checks on packaged output for weight and consistency to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshooting : Resolve basic operational issues and perform minor adjustments; escalate complex issues to management.
• Facility Support : Serve as a flexible resource, assisting with maintenance needs across the facility.
• Safety & Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations, utilize appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of production, quality checks, maintenance activities, and all operational issues.

Job Requirements :

Basic Working Conditions : The employee must have their own method of dependable transportation and work full time during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Overtime and work on weekends may be needed. The employee must be able to sit and / or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. The employee will be required to have the ability to stoop, kneel and handle objects for filing.
